Unlike its parent restaurant whose culinary fame is based on fish, Giacomo Bistrot concentrates on a simpler, faster cuisine based on meat and game. And just as in a Parisian bistrot, oysters, and truffles when they are in season, are served with champagne and various brands of wine. Wines which normally rest in the bistrot’s unexpected trump card – the cellar, reached by a brass-button studded upholstered stairway, where private dinner parties can be organized.
